Sylosis

In 2000 guitarist John Middleton and bassist Carl Parnell joined forces to form Sylosis. The band released a couple of EPs before signing to Nuclear Blast Records in 2007. Their debut album “Conclusion of an Age” followed in 2008 and afterwards they embarked on a tour with The Black Dahlia Murder and played some festivals.

Sylosis entered the studio again in 2010 to record their follow-up “Edge of the Earth”, which was released in 2011. Another record, “Monolith”, was launched in 2012. The band went off on tour again to promote the record, but unfortunately had to cancel their shows with Trivium and DevilDriver, due to an RV accident. After a full recovery, they went back to touring with DevilDriver and Bleed From Within. The band had to do without Rob Callard, who later departed the band and was replaced by Bleed From Within drummer Ali Richardson.

In January the band unleashed a brand new album on the world. Dormant Heart is their fourth full-lenght album and has already managed to score good reviews by the press. Discover it for yourself on May 14 at Biebob Concerts!
